Ray E. Bowditch |

Ray has served as President of Bowditch Insurance Corp since it’s inception in 1983. Prior to Bowditch, he was Senior Vice President of Frank B. Hall, (now Aon) in Jacksonville, Florida. His responsibilities included the sales and service of mid to large commercial insurance accounts. Ray began his insurance career in 1960 with the Insurance Company of North America in Tampa, Florida. He first served in the Engineering department and later became a Technical Representative and Sales Supervisor. In 1967 he joined the Agency business with Harry E. James, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Boston University, and Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College. Ray is past president of the Jacksonville Executive Association and served on Jacksonville Independent Agents Board. He is a past member of Lloyds of London, and currently serves as a Director for the Greater Jacksonville Fair Association and is a member of Pablo Creek Golf Club and the Ponte Vedra Club.
