Juanita Bowditch

Juanita has been Executive Vice President Bowditch Insurance Corp since it’s inception in 1983. Prior to that she was an Account Supervisor with Frank B. Hall, (now Aon) in Jacksonville, Florida in the commercial insurance department, where she developed, serviced and counseled mid and large market accounts.

Juanita began her insurance career in 1967 as a receptionist with the Harry E. James Insurance Agency in Jacksonville.  She worked with and became familiar with the operations of that Agency after which she became the first woman in Jacksonville to pass the Florida Department of Insurance qualification test and receive an Agent’s license.

Juanita has personally handled every internal operation in the Agency.  With this experience, she is highly  qualified  to handle the responsibilities of her position.  She was recently recognized by the YWCA as one of the outstanding business women in Jacksonville, and is member of the Ponte Vedra Club, the Epping Forest Club and the River Club.
