Jim Black

Jim has been an officer of Bowditch Insurance since 1988.  His responsibilities include personal production, insurance company relations, and producer development.  He is a graduate of the University of North Florida, with a degree in Sociology.

Jim began his insurance career with Prudential Insurance Company in 1976, handling life and group health products, moving later to a large regional brokerage firm, and expanding his client base through the sale of commercial Property and Casualty insurance.

Jim has served on the board of the Mandarin Rotary Club, and for many years has been Chairman of various fund raising golf tournaments, among which are those benefiting the Cathedral Foundation’s Meals on Wheels program, and the Pine Castle School.  He is a member of the Lake United Methodist  Church, the Deerwood Country Club, and the Jewish Community Alliance
